What a view! Bernini's Piazza is a marvelous piece of art and the view on Rome is literally breathtaking after the long climb to the top of the dome. (Best viewed large!)

Note that I did not add that purple light flare... during the 3rd long HDR exposure the setting sun hit something strange in the clouds and it burned that purple tone into the sky.
